8 days agoI have stage 4 andenocarsaroma. I have did 4 regimens of chemo and 8 of keytruda and 4 radiation on brain. My cancer had not spread and they said my treatments were working and cancer on brain gone. I December 2025 I was getting short of breath and January it became worse like I couldn’t catch my breath. Doctor stopped treatment and did ct found that I have pneumonitis in long. He said unfortunately. I’m 1 of the 5% this can happen to and I will not be Treated with keytruda no more in the near future. Like it caused this. He put me on steroids and inhaler. Not seeing him for 4weeks. Unsure what’s happening next. Has anyone had similar problems with keytruda

8 days agoPneumonitis is a known side effect that can happen with Keytruda, and while it's concerning, many people in this community have faced similar treatment interruptions and found ways to continue their cancer journey. The breathing difficulties and treatment pause can feel scary, but steroids often help manage this condition, and there may be other treatment options to explore once this settles down - others here might share their experiences with similar situations.
