I'm on my third diagnosis in 4 years, diagnosis one was treated with a partial lobectomy (left lung), diagnosis 2 (2 spots in right lung) treated with Cyber Knife, 3rd diagnosis (2 new spots in right lung) made two months ago. Does anyone with a similar situation have any advice, from a lay persons perspective as to maintaining sanity?

Facing multiple diagnoses can feel overwhelming, and it's completely understandable to seek ways to maintain emotional balance through such a challenging journey. Many community members find that connecting with others who understand similar experiences, establishing daily routines that bring comfort, and focusing on one day at a time can help manage the emotional weight of ongoing treatments.

You've had a rough road. There are many other folks who are going through a rough road also. Dig down and find your inner strength. You can do this! Best to you and yours!

Thanks Garey, I'm not alone and I know that, and so I do keep moving forward, giving up and getting depressed isn't an option. And, as an after thought to my post the other day, I do as many pushups as possible, morning, noon and evening. And they do help. But still, the journey can be daunting.

I’m 80 years old and I’ve been living with one form of cancer or another since 2008. Breast, ovarian and now I’m on my 3rd type of cancer (nscl) since 2017. This is the 4th nodule found. All in the right lung. It’s hard but I’m still here and that’s amazing. Keep your chin up and try to plow through it. I thought I was a goner after the breast cancer but here I am. God bless you and don’t ever give up.
