Have a question for anyone doing the pem/pem maintenance, has anyone been extremely exhausted i mean sleeping 14 to 16 hrs. I can't seem to get any energy and they want me to continue this program for 14 more months. I just dont know if I can keep this up

Extreme fatigue and needing 14-16 hours of sleep can be challenging side effects that some patients experience with pemetrexed treatments, and it's completely understandable to feel concerned about managing this for an extended period. Many community members have shared similar experiences with treatment-related exhaustion, so you're definitely not alone in facing this difficult situation. Consider discussing these symptoms with your medical team, as they may have strategies to help manage the fatigue or could evaluate whether any adjustments might be appropriate for your specific case.

Im in remission of stage 3 lung cancer just finished 10 treatments of immunotherapy and was asked to take a pet scan but refused. My insurance will not cover my future scans. So I need to do something about that. This just happened yesterday. I feel ok not feeling too bad considering..I am exercising 1 day a week. I still eat whatever I want and smoke 7 cigars a day. My mother had lung cancer her father died of lung cancer.
