Surgery soon after

Sometimes I feel like I would like to have surgery because I have this dead thing in me that has caused so much damage. I worry that it is just going dormant or hibernating until the treatment is done. Then it will wake up angry for what I've done to it and just go into a rage and kill me. I know this isn't rational but I have a hard time getting those thoughts out of my head. I hope your surgery goes well and recovery is as expected. Take good care!
