a month agoHello and happy holidays to one and all! All indications are that my NSCLC, stage 3b, is becoming active again. I'm scheduled for a PET scan on Jan 14 for clarification. In the meantime, I'm looking for clinical trials. If anyone has any info at all regarding this topic, please post as much info as you can. Thank you very kindly in advance for any contribution!

a month agoFinding clinical trials can be an important step in exploring treatment options, and there are several reliable resources available to help with this search. The National Cancer Institute's website at clinicaltrials.gov allows searching by cancer type and stage, while many cancer centers also maintain their own trial databases and have research coordinators who can assist with finding appropriate studies. Wishing you clarity with the upcoming scan results, and hoping other community members can share their experiences with the clinical trial search process.

16 days agoGarry, I’m in exactly the same boat situation. I have beaten the cancer 3 times and it was completely gone and within 3 months I was diagnosed with it again. Still not sure what the plan is for treatment yet. I hope we both get over this. Good wishes to you.

2 days agoHi Garey. If you live near or contact a National Cancer Institute (NCI) designated cancer center you may have access to many different research facilities, clinicians and clinical trials. I have Stage III ALK + NSCLC and was enrolled in a trial very early. Good luck!
