a month agoHi everyone. Was recently diagnosed with Nsclc and already had one chemo infusion which was really bad. Is anyone familiar with new drug Zongertinib? I am going to be taking that now instead of chemotherapy and I was hoping to get some sort of insight about it

It sounds like you're navigating some challenging treatment decisions, and it's completely understandable to seek alternatives when chemotherapy side effects are severe. While each person's treatment journey is unique and depends on their specific diagnosis and circumstances, many patients find it helpful to connect with others who have experience with different targeted therapies. Consider discussing all your questions and concerns about this treatment option with your oncology team, and hopefully others in this community can share their experiences to help you feel more informed and supported.

a month agoHi! I also had a bad reaction to cisplatin and alimpta(not sure if spelled that correctly). I never heard of the new drug. Have you started it yet? Wishing you the best. I've beat NSCLC twice. Both right and left lungs. Next scan is in December to see if any of the new nodules are growing.
