20 days agoI have had 4 primary stage 1 NSCLC adenocarcinoma. I had 2 areas in my left lung that I had wedge resections on to remove in 12/2022 & 6/2023. In 8/2023 I had a change in a nodule in my right lung. Due to prior wedge biopsies on the upper and lower right lung in 2017, I was advised to have SBRT. I had 4 treatments. I remained in remission until 1/2026. Another nodule changed. The biopsy showed adenocarcinoma again. It is in the middle right lung and inoperable. I have been told that I can have ablation (cold or hot), radiation or possibly surgery but advised against that. I begin radiation next week. I cannot say enough about advocating for yourself. I had to ask for another PET scan and what molecular tests can be done to determine what treatments options I may have such as targeted therapy or immunotherapy treatment. A tempus test was done to determine that. I meet next week to discuss the results.
