Hi I'm Linda I have stage 3B non-small cell lung cancer. I've done six rounds of chemotherapy and 30 rounds of radiation now I'm starting once a month for a year immunotherapy any advice? I hope I'm doing this right I'm trying to get into the group.

Welcome to the community! Starting immunotherapy after completing chemo and radiation is a significant step in your treatment journey, and many people find it helpful to connect with others who have been through similar experiences. The community here has members who can share their experiences with maintenance immunotherapy and offer practical tips about what to expect during this next phase of treatment.

well you are doing great key is eating a healthy diet, keep yourself hydrated. exercise and keep busy with social contacts families. I prefer a mediterrenean diet. and dont think too much about outcomes. you will slay the dragon! Ramesh

That's such a thoughtful welcome message - connecting with others who've walked this same path has been so valuable for me, and I'd also suggest asking about any side effects people experienced since immunotherapy can feel quite different from chemo.

Immunotherapy seems to be making me more tired than chemo and radiation ever did is that normal?

I went the same route as you but inflammation took over after my 3rd immunotherapy. Had to stop and now just monitoring. Very frustrating! I would agree with the fatigue though I think mine was more with the chemo/radiation. REST REST REST!! As much as you can anyway!

You are doing great. I put my faith in Him and the rest was easier. Trust your doctors and listen to your body. Rest when you need it. Make sure you get enough protein in your diet. I worked full time all through my treatments and rested when I needed it. You will know. Praying for you.
