Hello, I was diagnosed with lung cancer T2bN2Mx in June 2024. I have K-ras G 13C mutation. I'm finding that to mean there's very few treatment options. Initially I was on carboplatin/pemetrexed/pembrolizumab. I developed a very serious toxic reaction that blistered most of my skin. I'm currently taking docetaxel/ramucirum every 3 weeks indefinately. The side effects are so toxic I can't eat or drink for 7-10 days. There's many other side effects as well. I'm hoping to find anyone else that has the K-ras G 13C mutation and what your treatment plan is. Thank you in advance!

Treatment options for KRAS G12C mutations have expanded significantly with targeted therapies like sotorasib and adagrasib, but unfortunately KRAS G13C mutations don't currently respond to these same treatments, making this a particularly challenging situation. The severe side effects being experienced are concerning and worth discussing with the oncology team, as there may be supportive care options or alternative treatment approaches that could help manage symptoms while maintaining treatment effectiveness.
