What alternatives to chemo exist for granulosa cell ovarian cancer?

I was diagnosed with granulosa cell ovarian cancer. Had 13 cm left tumor removed April 2025. Also ovaries and follicles removed. I am not on any chemo Bec couldn’t tolerate the taxol when I had breast cancer 26 years ago. I am being surveillanced. My present labs are cea 6.8 and inhibin b is 229.1. I am waiting for doc call next week. I have had three scans and mri that say can’t find anything. Might now need pet scan. I want to try ivermectin and fenbendazole but they say not standard of care. I am 75. I don’t know if there is anything out there I could take that is not chemo to kill these possible cancer cells. Doing much reading on things but my cancer is rare and seems not much being done on it. Anyone else have this cancer. It’s sex cord strongly type cancer and very slow growing. Never knew I had problem. Nothing bothered me.

Can ovarian cancer come back in stomach and bowel area?

I had ovarian cancer in 2022 with a complete hysterectomy and 6 cycles of carboplatin and taxill. I now have a tumor on my stomach and near my bowels with enlarged lymph nodes. No biopsy was done because the tumors can’t be reached. One is near a large vein and the other near my bowels. My CA-125 numbers are going up too. 6 cycles of chemo start this Wednesday with Avastin Has anyone had bad side affects from Avastin?

Can pneumonia after chemo be mistaken for lung cancer recurrence?

June 2022 I was diagnosed with stage 3b. Did my 6 chemo appts. Then last year I was diagnosed with pneumonia the antibiotics weren't strong enough...so I contact my healthcare facility and they saw me did a chest X-ray and said I have a possiblity of lung cancer. So they took me off antibiotics. Then they did a biopsy of my lungs. My cat level went up to 19 from a 5. Well then I went to my son's and they rushed me to the hospital and I found out that I had triple pneumonia. Fungal, bacterial and viral. I lost the use of one lungs. Now I go to a pulmonologist. Who says I only lost 10to 15%. How? Now I. Having a cat scan because of possible lung cancer Dr says I have 3 noggles on my chest bone. How can all of this be true. Yes I go to the same cancer center as diagnosis date.

Has anyone tried Elahere after Doxil stopped working for ovarian cancer?

Is anyone on Elahere . Doxil isn’t working tumors got larger and started on other lymph node’s. Started over 2years ago with stage 4 ovarian cancer, chemotherapy and surgery then more chemotherapy.

Has anyone tried Doxil chemo? How were the side effects and results?

I was on avastin for 6 months and it didn't work for me (did a PET scan and found evidence of cancer and my CA125 went from 21 to 65) So I'm starting chemo again - carbo and doxil Anyone else doing doxil or have done doxil? How bad were the side effects? Did it work for you?

Has anyone experienced massive fluid retention with stage 4 ovarian cancer?

I have ovarian cancer that started in 2022. I’ve done multiple treatments and rounds of chemo. It is stage 4 now and I had treatment in 2022. It went into remission. and reoccurred in 2025. Since then I have have gained 50 lbs of fluid. Has anybody else experienced this problem with massive fluid retention? Also, I just got my scans back this week and it is not cancer that is causing the fluid or it’s not tumors that are causing the extra weight gain.
