2 months agoIs anyone on Lynparza? If so, how do you deal with side effects?
Accepted Answer
Managing side effects from Lynparza can be challenging, and many community members have found success by working closely with their healthcare teams to adjust timing, dosing, or add supportive care measures. Connecting with others who have been on this medication might provide helpful insights about what strategies have worked for them - hopefully some community members will share their experiences here.

2 months agoHi Lisa!! I’ve been on Lynparza for about 10 days. It’s not Horrible, but I get slight headaches and my stomach has been a little nauseous. I take Zofran for that. I’m also tired. I also have a sty on my eye I can’t get rid of. What about your symptoms?

20 days agoI was on Lynparza for 1.5 years. What helped me and I had no side effects. I was told to eat a banana with it. I never ate so many bananas in my life but I was able to because I ate it with yogurt. I was grateful for that tip. Since that time I can’t remember if I ate half the banana in the morning and the other half in the evening or one in the morning and one in the evening.

20 days agoThank you everyone for your comments about Lynparza. Nausea yes, burning stomach so I take a proton pump inhibitor ( Nexium). I'll try bananas! Yogurt also helps. I've been on and off for a year and haven't made peace with the medication but it is helping ( I guess). Zofran is too constipating for me.

20 days agoI take some Zofran too and I am always constipated. Hate it. I’m taking a lot of Colace. Colace makes me so gassy

20 days agoI've been living on ginger sugar free ( or sugary) lozenges to help with nausea so I don't have to take Zofran. Also, Milk of Magnesia tablets ( not the liquid, ugh) has helped me with constipation.
