a month agoIs anyone working on increasing their Whole Food Plant based meals and social interaction? I am thinking about starting a zoom group where we cook the same recipes together, talk, laugh, and just share a good time. Let me know if you are interested!

a month agoWhat a wonderful way to combine nutrition, social connection, and shared experiences during your cancer journey. Plant-based cooking groups can offer both practical meal ideas and meaningful community support through virtual gatherings. This sounds like it could bring together people who want to explore healthy recipes while building friendships and finding encouragement through cooking together.

19 days agoHeidi, I am planning to schedule a first meet up next week. Our group will be small but we can grow as we go (currently 3-4 people?). What time zone are you in?

15 days agoFinally I figured out the way to share the invite. My first meet up will be v tomorrow at 12 pm EST. We will chat and perhaps make some crispy rice or quinoa or whatever grain you have ready to go (already cooked). These make great additions to salads and many other dishes and add protein and fiber! Here is the info: You're invited to Plants for Dinner Wednesday, March 25, 2026 12:00 pm - 12:30 pm (EST) https://teams.live.com/meet/93319017727619?p=r0EDFvkx5ZMPXbVoGV Tap on the link or paste it in a browser to join. I couldn’t figure out how to make the link live in this app but you can copy and paste it! I hope to see you tomorrow!
