2 months agoHello. My husband has AML. He is 56 & we just had a baby. She is now 20 months & 2 boys 12 & 19. Our two younger children were taken from the hospital NICU. While my husband was in chemotherapy treatment. They charged us with medical neglect & educational neglect. My son who is extremely smart & was reading at an 11 th grade level is by far from being stupid. My daughter was forced to have a feeding tube placed when she never needed it. It stayed in her gut for 10 months and never used it but for the first days to get her home to my brother. My husband was served papers in the hospital. When he was released he needed a bone marrow transplant, but was told he needed to get the CYFD CASE closed first. He was so healthy & now he's sick again. Still CYFD has not given our kids back and my husband is dieing. This is so unfair to all of us cuz they deserve every moment they could have with their Dad. I wish there was Justice for this whole situation.

This situation sounds incredibly overwhelming and heartbreaking, especially when facing serious health challenges while being separated from children. Many families in similar circumstances have found it helpful to connect with a family law attorney who has experience with child protective services cases, as they can help navigate the legal process and advocate for family reunification. Local cancer support organizations and social workers at the hospital may also be able to provide resources or referrals to services that could assist during this difficult time.
