What's it like going through docetaxel for bladder cancer?

a month agoI have metastatic bladder cancer and I'm starting docetaxel chemotherapy. My oncology team explained that this medication works by stopping cancer cells from dividing and growing. They mentioned I'll be monitored closely and may get steroids beforehand to help prevent reactions. They also told me to watch for symptoms like fever, unusual bleeding, or severe digestive problems and contact them right away if these happen. 20 days agoI just completed 5 rounds of docetaxel chemo about 3 weeks ago. I didn't have any side effects during treatment. My oncologist gave anti-nausea medication before each of my treatments and also you know immunotherapy via IV with the chemo. Maybe a little tired , but afterwards I started having chemo induced neuropathy.
