Has anyone else been diagnosed with a 3.3cm lung mass and brain scans?

Hi Kay I’m Karen I have stage 4 NSCLC that was diagnosed October 2024 with a lg tumor on my left lung and a smaller tumor on my right lung , with a small bb size tumor on my brain, I had a mri of my brain just 6 weeks ago and with 1 radiation on my brain in 2024 it now is gone. My tumors on my lungs are inoperable and I have been having chemo since December 26 , 2024. They are treatable but not curable . I have a rare EGFR mutation . I thought I had bronchitis when I went to doctor in October of 2024 they x-rayed my lungs and sent me to hospital to have 1 1/2 liters fluid removed from my lungs 7 weeks in a row and another 2 months at home smaller amounts draining fluid off my lungs. The fluid was caused from the tumors, my first CT scan after 7 weeks of chemo the tumors had shrunk since then they have been stable ! I have a CT scan next week ( every 9 weeks) and I’m always nervous about what they will find ! It is quite a journey but we have a lot of faith in our oncologist and that means’s a-lot . Good luck in your journey and have a positive attitude , remember you can look down the street and someone else is worse off then I am!

Hi Kay..I remember when they td.me I had hepatocelluar Carcinoma and that they had to remove my right lobe. Welk they removed it in May 2024 and come November of 202r they called me back in and told me it showed up in My left lobe..so we.did a ablation and it work except the cancer spread to my lungs and spinal column. So yes fear is a.major factor Kay for all of us. But I have overcome my fear by simply believing that inspire of all this chaos that cancer can create in our mind God has a plan for us and as.bleak as.it might seem God does take care of us. I wish you strength and peace Kay. You can do this....become a survivor and not a victim..❤️

Hi Kay…Hope your scans go well and nothing is detectable. I had a lobectomy for a NSCLG 2.5 mass in February, all healed up and feeling good. Be sure you get Biomarker testing of the tumor. I have an EFGR exon19 mutation that responds to pill chemotherapy. I’ve been in it since March. If your journey turns out similar, I’d love to talk with you too! Good luck and blessings!

Don't be afraid I was diagnosed pretty much with the same thing I was stage four I've been doing very well with the chemo then I had three spots on my brain when I went back to do the radiation there was nothing there so there is chances that when you go you probably won't see nothing either just trust in the Lord. That's what I did. He hasn't fell me yet.

I don’t care what religion you are or what you believe in but I’m living proof pray works.. Give everything to Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and let him take care of you as he has done for so many others.. Open your heart to the Lord Jesus and let his word flow through you. Hi Kay I have NSCLC Stage IVB I was Diagnosed in January 2024 Lesion on my upper right lung spread to my spine in my L3 Vertebrae and a small lesion on my Brain I had radiation 1 Round and 35 cycles of Chemo Immunotherapy my tumor on my spine was removed by surgery It’ ok to be scared I was too mostly because everything was unknown it’s a journey they are checking your brain because a lot of the time Lung Cancer metastasis to brain scans get used to scans and MRI it’s part of a cancer patient life you will learn a lot in the next few months if you can bring someone with you when you meet your oncologist because they will tell you a lot of information Healing Vibes on your journey 😊We are stronger than we know btw I completed my 35 cycles of chemo immunotherapy about 45 day ago physically I’m doing good Hang in there!
