Hi, my name is Robert I am 44yrs old and last year I was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon and this year they added paritoneal Metastatic stomach cancer to the diagnosis and bladder cancer. I have a 2yr old with more energy than I am able to handle and I am also still trying to work as full time as possible to be able to support my family. I have been told I have possible 3-5yrs to live and maybe a little longer as long as I continue treatment and because I am young.

Balancing cancer treatment with parenting and work creates incredibly complex challenges that many in this community understand deeply. Consider reaching out to oncology social workers who can help connect you with practical resources like childcare assistance, flexible work arrangements, and family support services that might ease some of the daily pressures you're managing.

Hi, my name is Stacy and I completely get trying to live and deal with life with little kids and Cancer. I have an adult daughter that is 29 is mentally disabled, but I have to take care of and she also had a daughter that she can’t take care of because of her mental illnesses that me and my husband had adapt it will be true in January. I also had 27 year-old grandsons that their parents don’t have anything to do with and I’m dealing with colon cancer. Also, I was diagnosed on August 17. I’ve had two surgeries and I’m doing a chemo because they didn’t get it all. So I completely understand what you’re going through.
