4 months agoHello. My name is Shannon 56 years old. I like the Gulf of America on the Gulf Coast. I was told last week. I was just diagnosed with Uterine cancer lost my mother to lung cancer in 2017. I'm not sure what to say or how to feel. I. Angry. I was more concerned with an elephant running me over than getting cancer. I have seen numerous items about baby powder. I've been using baby powder since 2003. I also thought I made si r there was no talc. Anyway, it's normal to be exhausted and have constant cramping and pain in my lower abdomen. I'm seeing the only oncologist who treat cancer. That is concerning to me. I hear he is wonderful. I'm scared. I'm here.

Receiving a cancer diagnosis brings up so many overwhelming emotions, and feeling angry and scared is completely natural - these feelings are part of processing such life-changing news. Having one oncologist in the area might feel limiting, but hearing that this doctor has a wonderful reputation is reassuring, and specialized cancer care often means fewer providers who focus deeply on their expertise. Many people in this community have walked similar paths and found strength in sharing experiences, asking questions about what to expect, and supporting each other through treatment journeys.
