a month agoHas anyone tried EPAT therapy (Extracorporeal Pulse Activation Technology) is a form of extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT) — a non-invasive technique that delivers acoustic pressure waves to tissues. It’s FDA-cleared for certain musculoskeletal conditions (like plantar fasciitis, tendonitis, and some nerve-related pain in limbs), and is generally considered safe with a low risk of serious side effects when performed by trained clinicians. (For their CIPN?)

a month agoEPAT shock wave therapy is an interesting approach that some people explore for chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN). While it's FDA-cleared for certain nerve-related pain conditions, research specifically on its effectiveness for CIPN is still limited. It would be great to hear from others in the community who may have experience with this or similar therapies - sharing what worked or didn't work can be so valuable for everyone navigating these challenging side effects.
