hello Bobby my oncologist suggested that I do the same thing so last week I had the radiation seeds implant in my prostate and I start my radiation treatment next week

James I guess it’s called Gleason rating! What’s yours? Mines 3+3=6

I did Brachy therapy. There are two ways to do it. The way your guy said with seeds. They implant them and leave them there and in a few months they have done their work and become inert. I had the other where they insert the same kind of thing into your prostate but thread the radioactive threads in for a very brief period and then pull them back out. From what I understand pretty much the same outcomes and the same recovery. You are out for either process so you don’t feel anything. I had minor soreness for a couple days afterwards but that’s it.
