Had a call from my urologist/surgeon this evening. He is local to me and it was great to get a date for surgery on the books whilst we gather more information on optional treatments that I might qualify. Actually asked a question What would you do if you were me. It was helpful to hear him covet a healthy bladder if he were I. That lead me to consider radiation more seriously. Have an updated MRI, and will have another biopsy to further the possible HiFu treatment. Weighing in on Duke's willingness to consider hifu. Cost out of pocket will be pricey vs established treatment. Stay tuned.
