Has anyone experienced side effects from Lupron shots?

Are you taking Abby as well? I started off with both. It made me very tired and listless - depressed. A few hot flashes but not a big deal. Dizziness when getting up rapidly. I am still on this regimen going on two years. PSA went from 27 to 0.01 where it is today. After feeling tired and unable to exert myself, after six months, I went on an antidepressant which really made a difference. I am going to the gym 5 days a week and walking. The exercise gives me more energy too. The Lupron effect is more intense the first two weeks after the shot after that very manageable. Wishing you the best, Bob

No im just on lupron I read the side effects like heart trouble ect so I was worried. I read about them.after the shot im trying to find a holistic way to block my testosterone its sad that we are almost forced to take meds with the side effects being more severe than the actual diseases

Alfie Jones, you don’t say what stage ur in but if you are just receiving LUPRON injections , which I have been doing for 3 years along with other meds , doesn’t sound to be to bad !!! LUPRON has been around for 40 yrs and it is used to lower testosterone!! There is no Holistic way to lower testosterone!!! LUPRON has some side effects, but you will get used to them !!!

@Timothy Hufnagle thank im at stage 1 I caught it early and I didnt know lupron had been around that long ive been experiencing exhaustion and at night hot flashes so for its only been a week and a half hopefully things will subside
