a month agoGood Morning, I has a PSA of 0.05 3 months after surgery, now 6 months it is 0.07 Should I be worried? I thought it should be below 0.2?? Any thoughts?? Jim C

a month agoI had 0.04 6 months after then at 9 months 0.05..I was worried but my doctor said its normal for it to fluctuate..now waiting for my 12 month check

a month agoYes be concerned and fight your oncologist for a PSMA scan with radioactive fluids that light up every where you have cancer if they don’t want to give you one or wait a couple of more months Screw them and find another oncologist it’s you body and your right to fight if needed Best of luck to you

20 days agoDid your original cancer become aggressive? Mine did and a year after removal it is back. .05 the whole year and now. Checked again .07, from .05. They tested 3 months later and .12. I start radiation in two weeks now. I tell you this not to scare you but to keep on your Dr about continued testing every 3 months.

20 days agoCan I ask what was your gleason score and psa before surgery. Also did u have a good pathology report after surgery

20 days agoMy Gleason score was 4-3 - 7. PSA was 4.2 PSMA scan was confined to prostate. The follow up pathology was per my doctor called favorable. 25% of prostate was was affected. Am am now awaiting a January PSA test which would be 9 months after surgery. Jim
