How do others cope with frequent urination controlling daily life?

I have had symptoms since 4/25 , and was officially diagnosed in June, frequent urination controls my daily activities, hoping that the medications that I’m taking will give my life some normalcy- the good news is , no pain at all for such a large amount of cancer found - I’m just venting, because there is no one else who would understand what I’m going through- would love to attend meetings with other for community counseling , and conversations, but my one major symptom keeps me from traveling. Wishing everyone relief and recovery- Gary , Somerset New Jersey

Many community members find that planning activities around bathroom locations and scheduling shorter outings can help maintain some social connection while managing frequent urination. Consider exploring virtual support groups or online community discussions as a way to connect with others who understand this challenge until medications hopefully provide more freedom to travel and attend in-person meetings.

Bruce, if you have prostate cancer ?? Fire them all and tell them Exactly what you want say !!! I Fired my 1st oncologist during our 1st meeting and I lit him up and then went out into the waiting room and told everyone that if you are seeing this DR , don’t , cause he will kill you !!! See, he came into my room where my wife and me sat and said I can get you to 80 yrs old !!! My wife and I looked at each other and we both knew he didn’t read my chart beyond prostate cancer !!! You see it went to a lymph node which makes metastatic prostate cancer !!! Unfortunately they were a self owned medical group and I couldn’t do anything to him !! I did tell him he shouldn’t be treating ppl and I can’t imagine how many you have killed !!! You didn’t read my chart before you came to me and my wife and I knew !!! That’s a WTF and that’s why more and more men are dying everyday !!!!!

Tim, I'm taking meds to help make a flow when pissing, cause I can't really empty, nerve pills for pain in perineum area, oxycodone for severe pain. Meds for flow are not working well.

Oh how I commiserate with you I cannot tell you how many times a day I go to urinate in a night it’s I’m like a clock every hour on the hour I cry, but it’s humorous, and hopefully the doctors will be able to do a Roto rotor
