5 months agoHello everyone, I was diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer on April 16th 2025. My journey began with having difficulty urinating. I went to my doctor thinking I have an enlarged prostate but boy was I wrong. My PSA score came back at 67. I was sent to a Urologist who did a biopsy and found I had cancer in all 12 cores Gleason 9. I then was shuffled to a local area hospital who had an oncologist who seemingly was determined to give me chemotherapy. I wanted a second opinion and went to the Dana Farber cancer center. I was determined to be low volume metastatic prostate cancer. I am currently on Orgovyx and Zytiga. I use vitamin d 5000iu K2, Turkey tail and pectasol to help keep this filth at bay as well. I am 54 years old and have too much road ahead of me to not fight. One thing I noticed is that my ADT has virtually no side effects for me! No hot flashes, muscle loss or even lack of energy. I am a Christian guy so I find my strength to push forward from Jesus. I hope all of you are enjoying your summer and happy 4th of July!👍🍻

Thank you for sharing your journey and the strength you're finding along the way. It's encouraging to hear that you sought a second opinion and found a treatment approach that's working well for you with minimal side effects - that's not always the case for everyone, so that's really positive. Your determination and the support system you've built, including your faith, can be powerful tools as you move forward. Wishing you continued strength and hoping others in the community can benefit from hearing about your experience with these treatments.

5 months agoI was diagnosed Nov. 24. They said Gleason 9, 8x2, 7x4. Didn't like attitude nor approach. Also went Dana Farber. Review said All 7s. Started Orgovyx Feb., Zytiga May. First 3 months side effects were brutal, then, Nobody knows why but things improved dramatically. No further muscle atrophy, feeling much better. Follow up mri shows prostate & lymph shrunk 65-70%. Radiation begins mid July. Like you, I'm a Christian, kinda radical though! I absolutely Know Jesus Paid for Our Healing & I'll come through it Healed, totally!

5 months agoI personally don't believe it was all due to ADT. I've radically changed diet. Exercise regularly & focused on beating this in every way I can. Focused wholly on what Jesus Accomplished with His Wounds (Isa. 53, 1 Pet. 2:24, Matt. 8:17, James 5:14, etc)

5 months agoConsider taxotere chemo on top. Gives a longer and much more durable remission...at least that's the word of Kwon. I did all 3....now PSA 0.014 and 2 clean PSMA scans behind me. Btw...I was a G-9 10 of 12 cores and full blown metastatic.

4 months agoWell gents, got back from the doctor today and my PSA score came down 100 points in 4 weeks! My score currently is 1.3. I know it's not undetectable as of yet but even the Oncologist told me to celebrate 🎉 .... So, I will.. I take my medicine every day and I have listed my cancer supplements earlier. The real reason behind all of this is God!! 👍 I love him so much. I'm happy today. PS my other blood works were all in the clear as well.
