my psa started out at 78.96 ...I get chemotherapy (infusion) once every 3 weeks and steroids in my stomach once every 6 .months...my last infusion is this Monday! I most say the chemo us definitely working...my psa level is at 1.25 πŸ’―πŸ‘ŒπŸΎπŸ«ΆπŸΏπŸ’ͺπŸΎπŸ€žπŸΎπŸ™πŸΏ my next mission is my kidney...I may need it either partially or fully removed! I continue to positive because of the results from the kemo treatments for my prostate!

What wonderful news about your PSA response! Chemotherapy can be quite effective at reducing PSA levels in advanced prostate cancer, and your results show just how well treatment can work when it's the right fit. The dramatic drop you've experienced demonstrates that your treatment team has found an approach that's working well for your specific situation. Wishing you continued strength as you navigate the next steps in your care journey.

Can I ask what chemotherapy and steroids you are on? I'm also stage 4. Left kidney is involved. Had radiation and I've been on Lupron for 19 months. 🀍

Congrats bud. I'm at point 3 from 121 metastasized to bone in 3 places. They went radiation and testosterone blockers with me. Likely because of the 8 Gleason score.
