13 days agoIf you are 9n ADT such as Orgovyx for a sufficient amount of time does the side effects wear off a bit?
Accepted Answer
Many people on ADT treatments like Orgovyx find that some side effects may change over time, though experiences vary greatly from person to person. This is definitely a great question to discuss with your healthcare team, as they can provide personalized insights based on your specific situation and help you manage any challenging effects you might be experiencing.

5 days agoI have been on Lupron injections for several years and as long as I have ADT in my system (regardless of whether the dosage/schedule is monthly, every 3 or 6 months and my mCSPC condition), sadly, my symptoms have never subsided much particularly the occasional brain fog, of course continual hot flashes, daily sporadic joint discomfort, verified bone density loss (resulted in being prescribed 6-months doses of Prolia among other related drugs to combat it) and mood swings. Among my lifestyle changes to combat that are regular exercise and dietary changes but not better sleep (which would help), as hot flashes and joint discomfort have lead to sporadic bouts of insomnia. So hopefully your symptoms may be less noticeable for you over time as long as you are on ADT (I have had mCSPC for 15 years) than me.
