5 months agoDoctors diagnosed me with prostate cancer. The doctor seemed to be disappointed that I refused to have my prostate removed. I also refuse to have the hormones treatment. That will make a man breast grow and have sweat like a woman with menopause. I did the radiation treatment because I don't want Medicare to think i'm crazy. And I could not afford a holistic doctor which medicare do not pay for. My PSA level was 2.2 after the radiation treatment. Im taking Pro-T from LifeSeasons. With organic herbs, exercise, and praying to God.I believe i'm going to be one hundred percent healthy.

5 months agoMy research showed that cancer loves acid and hates alkalinity. So I went on a vegan diet and cut out coffee and sugar. My cancer is very low grade, so I am on active surveillance. Of the three biopsies I have had (36 needles), only one needle came back positive and it’s in the inner lobe. Probably will have another biopsy in a couple of years. My doctor did not recommend any other treatment at this time.

5 months agoAwesome, I believe that with that vegan diet, you will be ok. I forgot to mention that MRI said I had an L4 L5 Bulge in my lower back. I Google to see if it was connected to my prostate, yelp it was. So to keep this cancer from coming back all I need to do is see a chiropractor which medicare would not pay for that, but they will pay for an acupuncture so I'm going to do that and exercise my back to keep the nerves from jammy up stopping the blood flow. Praying for you and you pray for me. 🙏🏾🙏🏻❤️

5 months agoGary, in the end - what matters is what one (cancer patient) is comfortable with and willing to do or not do. Can't understand why any doctor would be disappointed about taking one option versus another. My team included a radiation oncologist and a urologist surgeon. Both were supportive of either decision I made. I chose radiation and that was that. As far as hormone therapy or not, I was fortunate that my numbers were just below having that treatment. However, I have a few friends who underwent hormone therapy and although not ideal specific to sideffects, all of them said it was successful keeping the cancer in remission. Diet, exercise, and supplements help me. Best wishes moving forward.

5 months agoI totally understand your decisions. I was diagnosed with aggressive prostate metabolism to a lymph. Don't have same options as you. My situation calms for more. On hormone therapy, radiation next. Everything going well according to plan plus. Prostate & lymph shrunk 65-70%. Radically changed diet. Resistance training is proven beneficial. But, Most Importantly keeping God #1 & understanding Jesus already paid the price (Isaiah 53)!

5 months agoWell, I am 70 years old. My last PSA test was 17.23, and I went down from 19.17. I am going to do the hormone therapy and radiation. My next appointment at the cancer center on the 17th to tell them what treatment. Surgery, hell, not too sure. It's pros and cons
