Well, I had a 17.32 PSA count. After two months of hormone therapy, my PSA is 1.83 which should be starting radiation soon

Hormone therapy can be quite effective at reducing PSA levels before radiation treatment, and many patients see significant drops like this. The combination of hormone therapy followed by radiation is a well-established treatment approach that oncologists often use for prostate cancer. It's great that the treatment plan is moving forward as expected, and hopefully other community members will share their experiences with this treatment sequence to provide additional perspective.

My radiation therapy starts in March. I am in ADT and so far so good. Started with a PSA score of 135.6 and now it was .2 last month. (A little over 3 months in)

Congrats Robert go kill the cancer and if it spreads after treatment fight the doctors and do your own research and start early if there is another rise of PSA I do mine and testosterone plus full panels my doctor orders for me monthly for the past 4 years on ADT Lupron shot every 4 months Both have not detected and the reason do it mo they and not like 2-3 months other doctors ask for is the moment we see even a small rise from almost 0 I want my next treatment of which is Pluvicto Asap after that there chemo and then the new PSMA prostate cancer killers and at some point game over but fight for a the good time you can have with your friends and family And for me when it hits the bones and lots of pain I will take myself out and don’t want my family going through the hell others have gone through If you want to do the same make sure you tell your family years in advance and reinforce it and they can be close to hear the shot or we go to a death with dignity state hear in the US but that takes too much time with all the rules and regulations and 2 doctors to attest you only have 6 months or less and get approval and wait for time while in pain I never owned a gun but will be getting one closer to my end All the best to you

I’ve seen my share of cancer deaths in both my immediate family and aunts and uncles and friends !!! It’s a chit show of the utmost !!! Many people have committed suicide and I believe most have thought about , including myself !!! It’s only natural to think that way !! Personally if things get really bad for me , it might be the best way and my wife will not have to deal with what I have seen !!! But can I do it ??? It’s going a QUICK decision when I make it !!!
