Good morning I like to know if anybody has went through this with your doctor my doctor has me on ADT treatment and spend almost a year now but my testosterone has not dropped to the clinical value and I'm thinking about quitting it she wants me to go to 2 years but look at my results and what's going on I don't think that's necessary for me especially with the financial charge. Any advice out there. Unfavorable intermediate-risk prostate cancer Gleason 4+3 = 7 Initial PSA about 12 Radiation therapy completed 25 sessions About 1 year of ADT Current PSA 0.26 Testosterone 70 ng/dL No confirmed spread to lymph nodes or bones

Treatment decisions like this can feel overwhelming, especially when balancing effectiveness concerns with financial burden. Many in this community face similar questions about treatment duration and response. Consider discussing your current results and concerns with your medical team or seeking a second opinion to help you make the most informed decision for your specific situation. The experiences and perspectives shared by others here who've navigated similar treatment decisions may also provide valuable insights.
