ADT not lowering testosterone enough - should I quit treatment?

You may be experiencing what I believe my oncologist once called testosterone escape in that the current treatment plan, medication taken, dosage and/or schedule of shots is not getting you to the expected medical castration level. I’d think if you are that concerned you might want to speak with your oncologist about possibly reviewing and possibly changing your medication/treatment plan, dosage rate or schedule. I know, probably not much help, I feel your frustration.

Thanks for your response I think I'm going to talk to a medical oncologist and find out if extending for another 6 months or year will make a difference with the changement of maybe the doses or medicine.

Consider having a PET scan PSMA. May be more valuable then PSA as you get an indication of number and size of prostate cancer sites.

Thank you Barry but I don't think that's where the question is . the question is seeing if they can get my testosterone lower on clinical levels like around 20 to 50
