23 days agoI have intermediate-risk, localized prostate cancer and my oncologist mentioned radical prostatectomy as one of my treatment options. This would involve removing my entire prostate gland and possibly some nearby lymph nodes to check if the cancer has spread. I'm trying to learn more about what this experience is like from others who have been through it. I'd love to hear from anyone who had a similar diagnosis and chose this surgical approach. • What was your recovery experience like after the surgery? • What do you wish you had known beforehand about the procedure or the recovery process? Any insights or tips you're willing to share would be really helpful as I work through my treatment decisions.

This is such an important decision to consider carefully with your medical team, and connecting with others who've walked this path can provide real comfort and practical wisdom during your treatment planning.
