8 months agoAny body know if psa drops to 2.7 from 18 does the stage change also?
Accepted Answer
That's a great question about how PSA changes might relate to cancer staging. While a significant drop in PSA levels can be encouraging and may indicate treatment response, cancer staging is typically determined through multiple factors including imaging, biopsies, and physical exams rather than PSA levels alone. This sounds like an important conversation to have with your oncology team, as they can explain how your specific test results fit into your overall treatment picture and what they mean for your care plan.

8 months agoI am not 1000% sure, but I believe the original staging is where our cancer is thought of. If a person has stage 4 high volume, high risk cancer and then has a future scan that shows them to be NED (no evidence of disease) and a psa below 0 they are still a metastatic patient by label.
