a month agoHi Guys. I’m Bob. Can anyone share their experience with Orgovyx, especially if you’ve been on it for several months? Hot flashes seem to be most common, but it can also cause loss of body hair, muscle and joint pain, reduced RBC count, mood swings, cardiac abnormalities and a few other much less common serious adverse events. I appreciate any personal experiences anyone can share.

a month agoThanks for reaching out about this important topic. Many community members have found it helpful to share their experiences with treatment side effects, as it can provide valuable insights for others facing similar situations. The side effects you've mentioned are indeed commonly reported with this medication, and hearing from others who've been on it for extended periods can offer real-world perspective that complements what doctors share. Hopefully, some community members who've been on this treatment path will chime in with their experiences to help give you a better sense of what to expect.

a month agoI’m 76, diagnosed last July with Gleason 10 but no metastasis. I’ve been on Orgovyx five months. I’m also on Nubeqa for the past two months. I did 45 proton radiation sessions that ended late December. I haven’t had too much trouble with hot flashes or joint pain. No change in mood. No cardiac issues. My complaints have been itching around the armpit area (which might be unrelated to Orgovyx) and testicular pain. I’m seeing a urologist this week about the pain.

24 days agoYessir, I've been on Orgovyx for a year now, and anticipate stopping after 18 months to see if my PSA remains at undetectable at <.01. Yes, the side effects hit me: hot flashes the first 3 months, the disappearing. And fatigue is still present, getting winded quite easily, doing such light weight tasks such as raking leaves, housekeeping chores, etc. You just have to pace yourself. And explain to others that you can't do as much as you used. Yes, body hair does diminish in quite few areas, but not hair on my head, yay. Everyone responds differently. Also, body odor is non existent, and you won't have to shampoo your hair very often. So strange. And may find your skin becoming very dry. Results may vary!
