This community is full of caring people who understand the challenges of a cancer journey and are here to offer friendship and encouragement. Reaching out takes courage, and connecting with others who share similar experiences can provide meaningful support and companionship during this time.

Hey Vitalii, I can be a friend. My name is Garey. I'll be 76 at the end of Oct. I'm very fortunate to be married with a family. I have stage 3b NSCLC, non-small cell lung cancer. I was diagnosed in November of 2023. It has been a pretty rough road at times but I'm now in remission, at least for now. I have a CT scan scheduled for the 13th of Oct so I'm getting a little bit anxious now, until the results are in. I'm ever so grateful to have my family around me. No matter what happens, I love and am 😍 loved so everything will be good in the end. We all only have a finite amount of time on this small blue 🔵 dot and I've had a much better life than a whole bunch of other human beings who've shared this small blue 🔵 dot with us. That, combined with my family, are the best reasons I have to be at peace with my final journey. I hope you are at peace with your final journey when it's your time to move forward. I'm looking forward to hearing from you when you have time. All the best to you and your family, Garey
