Can women with cervical cancer still have sex?

Hi. I had cervical cancer, I completed treatment in February of this year. Me and my boyfriend had sex everyday except while I was having the internal radiation treatment. You can have sex with cervical cancer but at times it was very uncomfortable so we stopped or with me, I felt undesirable but my bf helped me with my mental struggles and told me I was beautiful and he wanted me no matter what. Just remember, “YOUR CANCER DOES NOT DEFINE YOU!”

Many women with cervical cancer can maintain intimate relationships, though each situation is unique depending on treatment stage and individual health factors. This is definitely a conversation worth having with your healthcare team, as they can provide personalized guidance based on your specific circumstances and help address any concerns about comfort and safety.
