7 months agoI have seen my surgeon and my plastic surgeon but not my oncologist is that normal

Cancer care teams often coordinate appointments in different orders depending on your specific situation and treatment plan. Many patients see surgeons or plastic surgeons first, especially when surgical planning needs to happen before other treatments begin. Each medical team works together to provide the best care sequence for your individual needs, so this timing can be perfectly normal for your situation.

6 months agoI think it depends if you had your surgery yet I saw my surgeon before my surgery and after, but I didn’t see my oncologist till after the operation I believe it’s the oncologist that dispenses any medication that you’ll get and he’ll also determine chemo

6 months agoYes. That is normal. Don’t expect much from them. They won’t answer a question straight-up. I found them to be the weakest link.
