2 years agoAfter surgery stage 1do you have pain and Harding of your breast?
Accepted Answer
Pain and breast changes after stage 1 surgery can be concerning, and it's completely understandable to have questions about what's normal during recovery. Every person's healing process is different, and symptoms can vary based on the specific type of surgery and individual factors. It's important to discuss any pain or changes with your surgical team, as they know your specific situation best and can provide guidance on what to expect during your recovery period.

6 months agoI would imagine there were be some level of discomfort or pain. Also depending on the type of surgery, maybe a mastectomy weeks be more painful than a lumpectomy afterwards? I dont know. But I woke say if you are feeling any pain that you are concerned about so not hesitate to call your care providers ASAP. No guessing that way. You don't need the stress and that's what the medical people are there for, to make sure you are okay after surgery too. Also I had a high dose of radiation to my tumor on my right breast and then a biopsy 10 days later ( I'm on a study and the radiation was a one time dosage so it was the same amount accumulated as of you went for 4 weeks of it) anyway, I had some pain, and I developed a hard lump. I emailed the medical team and then went in and they looked. They said it was normal and was normal and go away after a while. And it is. But just talking to them and looking at my breast made all the difference in the world to me. So call your doctor office!

6 months agoI’m 2 weeks post lumpectomy and breast reduction on the other breast. I’m still in pain and very uncomfortable. Hang in there there and ask for more meds. It’s a known fact the body heals faster if it’s not putting all its energy into the pain
