10 days agoHi everyone. I wanted to share that I'm currently facing a brain cancer diagnosis. It's been one of the hardest experiences of my life, and some days can feel very lonely. If you've been wondering how I'm doing, I'd really appreciate hearing from you. Even a simple message or check-in would mean a lot to me. Thank you for keeping me in your thoughts.

6 days agoDear Elsie B, So happy to see you reaching out for support and comfort on O4M. I too am relatively new to the community as well. March of this year .. I was diagnosed with stage four lung and bone cancer back in 2025 and given a year maybe two if I followed my oncologist’s suggested treatment.. After radiation and two rounds of immunotherapy I told my doctor I was done.. I was giving everything to Our Lord and Savior period.. I’d never been so sick in my 73yrs on this planet.. I went from 165lbs to 120lbs and spent months going from the bedroom to the bathroom and had 0 appetite as well.. My sixth month checkup left my doctor scratching his head.. All my numbers were great and NONE of my cancer has spread or grown.. I can’t tell you how much the POWER OF PRAYER WORKS Elsie but it does and I’m still here to testify to it.. But Elsie you have to get down on your knees and give it ALL to Our Lord and Savior.. Have positive Faith and give Him thanks 🙏 for everything you’ve got.. HE WILL NOT FAIL YOU..! Every morning I get down on my knees and PRAY FOR EVERYONE on O4M .. Cherish every moment you have and offer it ALL to Him and Thank Him for His Mercy. Join me daily from the comfort of your living space and PRAY Elsie.. God Bless You and Heal You in Our Fathers Name.. Thomas O Ps. I’m attaching a short video you might be interested in.. 5 days agoElsie - I actually signed up as my husband which is why this looks like he is replying. On February 21 my husband was told he had brain cancer - over 30 lesions on my brain of Melanoma. At that time he was given 3-6 months to live. He takes immunotherapy once a month. Some days he feels really good and has a relatively "normal" day. Other days he wakes up and says I can't keep living like this. He sleeps roughly 18 to 20 hours a day. He has all but given up eating. He recently started being unstable and has to really concentrate on walking. His speech isn't very clear and when he does talk he has started stuttering. I don't know long you have had this cancer, but I know how lonely life can be. If you ever need to talk, yell or scream please feel free to contact me. I will give you my email if you would like it. Please know you are not alone and so many of us do care! Sue Burns

3 days agoWas diagnosed with melanoma in April of 25. Was on my brain, small intestine, adrenal glands and lungs. Had immunotherapy for 12 weeks and then the lesions mutated so had to go on oral chemotherapy. Braftovi and miktovi daily. Was 220 lbs but lost 60lbs. In remission right now and blood work is normal. Also had radiation on the brain which is now stable and weight is back up to 200. Stay strong.

12 hours agoI understand how overwhelming the unknown is. I try to keep doing light physical things even a gentle but effective work out with straps or just on the floor. Not only does it help the emotions be more comfortable but your body feels better. It is tough tho to keep it up. If you have a tough time send me a note and we can talk shop !!
