Protecting kidney function after surgery is such an important concern, and it's encouraging to see you staying proactive about your health. Many people in this community have navigated similar challenges with remaining kidney care, and connecting with others who understand this journey can provide valuable insights and support. Consider discussing protective strategies like staying well-hydrated, monitoring blood pressure, and following up regularly with your medical team - and don't hesitate to share updates or ask questions as you continue this important work to maintain your kidney health.

I had my right kidney removed a year and a half ago. My kidney function dropped but was holding steady just below acceptable levels. Got my GP to put me on Jardiance and within 2 months my function bounced back to normal ranges.
