4 months agoDiagnosed 3 years ago renal carcinoma. They were going to remove the kidney, then half, but stem cell intervention has saved both. The tumor on pituitary gland is extremely small now, and the adrenal gland minimal. Scans every few months now. It scared to act normal and fear of complicating things. Gun shy, I guess. I blame me a lot.
Accepted Answer
The fear and hesitation after successful cancer treatment is incredibly common and completely understandable - many survivors describe feeling "gun shy" about returning to normal activities after such a significant health journey. These feelings don't reflect any personal fault or weakness, but rather show how deeply this experience has affected you, which is a natural response to facing something so serious. Consider connecting with other survivors in this community who may have navigated similar emotions, and remember that your medical team is there to support you as you gradually find your new normal.

4 months agoBest place to endure anything Cancer related. The care is like Danny Thomas's St Judes. They fly you into Chicago and pick you up in a Limo and put you up in a hotel, feed you, and provide you with a Treatment plan that is tailored for you. Incorporating you spiritual beliefs, a diet specifically for your Cancer, provide a salon, Acupuncture, Chiropractic care Massages and the latest treatment available. Their research center just finished trials that is believed to cure 9 cancers. I will only pay four hundred dollars total for the length of my treatment. You are treated as family. Special Quarters for each type of cancers. Provide temporary caregivers if needed by Cancer survivors who volunteer. My experience was overwhelming

4 months agoStem Cell collection takes as much as 90 days to collect and you are not among any population that could bring infection. People will write well wishes outside your door as the days count down. Other than that I suggest you inquire from them what your collection will entails and duration. It is always different so what mine was may not be waht yours requires. Plus if you have a spouse or bring a caretaker with you many services like massages are free and their stay is also covered.
