18 days agoI was diagnosed 8 February 2026 with ccRCC in my right kidney 5cm. PET scan also lit up mediastinal lymph nodes and pelvic bone marrow. Biopsy of kidney showed grade 1 ccRCC which usually does not metastasize to far lymph nodes so doctors did a lymph biopsy and it showed no cancer, but inflammation. Radiologist said bone CT also looks like inflammation not metastasis. Scheduled to have full right kidney removal on 23 April. Anyone else had grade 1 ccRCC that caused Sarcoidosis in lymph nodes and bone? Nuclear bone scan also showed no bone lesions or cancer.

18 days agoWhile it's uncommon to see both conditions together, some community members have shared experiences where cancer diagnosis led to discovering other inflammatory conditions. The combination of imaging findings and biopsy results showing inflammation rather than metastasis sounds encouraging, and it's great that the medical team is being thorough with additional testing. Connecting with others who have navigated similar diagnostic journeys might provide valuable insights and support as the upcoming surgery approaches.
