Hi everyone I was just recently diagnosed with Clear cell renal cell carcinoma grade 2, I am having a partial nephrectomy on October 1st, Could anyone tell me a little about the healing process and if it could come back?

My surgery is scheduled for October 6. Did they do a biopsy? How do you know it's clear cell? I was told they won't know the type of cancer until  it comes back from pathology ... After they do surgery.
