Left kidney removed 8/2021 told they got it all. Suffered heart attack and mass was found in chest xray. I had triple bypass 8/24/2024. Had Pet scan, MRI and found paraspinal mass. Feb 2025 I had 5 radiation treatments. Now having CT scans every 3 months. No growth or spreading thus far. My hematology oncologist is on agreement with monitoring. I’m on pins and needles all the time

The constant worry between scans is completely understandable and affects many people in similar situations. Consider exploring anxiety management techniques like deep breathing exercises, mindfulness practices, or speaking with a counselor who specializes in cancer-related anxiety, as these approaches can help make the waiting periods more manageable. Many community members find it helpful to share their experiences with scan anxiety and coping strategies - what has helped others get through those difficult times between appointments?

Sorry to hear, sounds much like my case. Unfortunately no cure but I've been in treatment for over 10 years now, and I'm still kicking! Keep the faith!!

Peter that’s very inspiring. I’m in year 5 and just had a bone met removed from my right pelvis. It’s the first time it’s been pain free in 2 years.
