22 days agoI had stage 1 sclc, had 5 radiation treatments, declined chemo bc I am old and didn’t feel I could handle it. My scan 6 months ago I was clear. Tomorrow I go for my 6 month scan.

19 days agoI was wrong about the time….it was a 3 month scan! Anyway I had it and praise God it was clear of cancer. I do have some sort of infection/inflammation on the bottom of my lung. My oncologist gave me a prescription for steroids. I saw my pulmonologist the next day (I have COPD 24/7 oxygen) who said my lung function has deteriorated and seemed more upset than my oncologist did about the inflammation/infection. He wants to think about it and see me in June.
