Dad has stage 4 small cell lung. He completed 3 rounds of chemo ( 3 days each … 21 days apart) felt pretty good thru out that. Then he got knocked down hard after the last chemo with a contour called press. He lost vision and movement of arms and legs . Was in hospital and rehab for 3 weeks. Unable to start his last chemo at the time because he is just not strong enough. He went home for a week and is now back in hospital with low oxygen because tumor is growing back!!! Someone please help

This sounds like an incredibly difficult and frightening time for your family. When treatment plans need to change due to complications or declining strength, it's natural to feel overwhelmed and unsure about next steps. Many families in this community have faced similar challenges where initial treatments become too difficult to continue, and connecting with your oncology team about alternative treatment options or supportive care measures could help provide clarity during this uncertain period.
