Tell me more about what to expect at MD Anderson. I’ll have my first appointment with my doctor Monday August 4 Since I’m post radiation and chemo, will the do scans? Tumor markers? Restating? I’m very excited to go there

Hi I was diagnosis with 4 stage lung cancer after I almost died from pneumonia, and I guess when I first got sick with pneumonia I slept for almost two weeks, my boyfriend and youngest son who 29 would make sure I was eating and peeing in the right spot of course I was they wanted me to go h to the hospital but I hate it but my son said my eyes were glazed over like I almost looked dead the doc said my body was preparing for it to pass on. Then I find out I have 4 stage lung cancer and if it wasn't treated aggressively I will l of certainly died. And now I still have cancer but doing so much better💯

Yes, I am! I was diagnosed last year with stage1b lung cancer with a small tumor in my left lung. I underwent 10 radiation treatments which seemed to d o the job, the tumor shrunk slightly and every thing was fine until my last test last week, the tumor started growing again. It hasn't traveled any where, still stage 1b. The decision was made to put me on Keytruda Infusion starting next week, my Dr thinks it will work well for me. Has anyone else here used it and if so has it gelped?

Have ya all been able to continue working through all the treatments and side effects? I'm newly diagnosed with Small cell carcinoma lung cancer. I meet with the Oncologist next week for the first time. Ive no idea what stage and im sure there will be more test. I read that this cancer is very aggressive and to be honest I'm scared to death. 6 days ago they removed a nodule from my right middle lung. They were also going to remove a Lymph node, however that is in a dangerous spot so they left it. I am the Director of Housekeeping/Laundry in a nursing home, I work full-time but unsure if I will be unable to work with this cancer and treatments. Any information/experience is welcome.
