6 months agoMy husband is 75 we found out he has small cell lung cancer in Nov. 23. He has had radiation for 4 lesions in his brain and spine. We r doing chemo now. And in 8 weeks will do another MRI to see if this type chemo is working

Treatment effectiveness varies from person to person, but chemotherapy combined with radiation can be helpful for managing small cell lung cancer that has spread to the brain. The upcoming MRI results will provide valuable information about how the current treatment plan is working, and the medical team can adjust the approach based on those findings if needed.

6 months agoThey just did all. MRI in hopes I don't have cancer in my braini think it was a waste of time and money just cause I get lots of headaches and migraines it's funny because before I was diagnosed with cancer i had migraines and headaches all the time and when the cancer started the migraines and headaches stopped and now I'm done with kemo and radiation, 🤞 fingers crossed all goes well for you both and myself

13 days agoAmanda I never hardly have headaches in my whole life! But after I was diagnosed with SCLC and started chemo is when I started getting headaches? Not often and not bad but a few times a week. I’m getting a brain scan in a few weeks and now it’s gotten me worried that it has spread to my brain? Good luck and prayers to you and all who love you!🙏❤️
