How do I start using ivermectin with cancer treatment safely?

I’m looking to try using ivermectin but I don’t know how to get started. My oncologist doesn’t recommend I use ivermectin since not enough studies have been done on this drug. I’d like to know what’s a good starting dose. What are the known side effects and can this be used with the current drug I take, targrisso, or does ivermectin have to be taken separately! Any information would be greatly appreciated!!

It's completely understandable to want to explore all possible options when facing cancer, and it sounds like you're being thoughtful by discussing this with your oncologist first. The medical team's caution about ivermectin reflects the current lack of strong clinical evidence supporting its use in cancer treatment, and drug interactions with treatments like Tagrisso can be complex and potentially serious. Consider having another conversation with your oncologist or seeking a second opinion from another cancer specialist who can review your specific situation and help you understand all evidence-based treatment options that might be appropriate for your care plan.

Hi Eddie! Thank you for being a part of our community. Ivermectin and fenbendazole are not proven cancer treatments for humans. While some early research exists, there is no solid clinical evidence that they are safe or effective in treating cancer. Using unapproved substances can be dangerous. Please consult qualified medical professionals before making any treatment decisions and avoid self-medicating.
