How do I cope with fear and isolation during cancer treatment?

It’s incredibly scary!! Words you never thought would be so powerful!! Cancer I always thought I was prone to it (skin cancer that is). My dad had it and I grew up in dry heat no hat no shirt you get the picture. As time passes I find myself more scared than I ever have been. As I go through the treatments and processes of cancer I find I’m becoming more reclusive! I’m really scared about the future.

Fear and withdrawal during cancer treatment are natural responses that many people experience when facing such a challenging diagnosis. Connecting with others in this community who understand these feelings can help combat the isolation, and speaking with healthcare providers or counselors about anxiety management strategies may provide additional support during this difficult time.
