Many people experience challenging side effects when starting Anastrazole, and reaching out for support shows real strength, especially during the holiday season when symptoms can feel even more overwhelming. The community here understands these struggles well, and sharing experiences with medication side effects often helps others feel less alone - hopefully others will share their insights about managing these symptoms with their healthcare teams.

7 months agoVeozah 45 mg daily has stopped my hot flashes!! I would not be on my Anastrozole still if it weren’t for Veozah! Ask your doctor about it!

7 months agoYep, I stopped Anastrazole because it felt like someone threw a bucket of water on me. Tried Tamoxifen, but my Oncologist wanted me on Exemestane. I also stared Veozah and hot flashes are gone, but now liver enzymes are elevated from Veozah and Exemestane. Cancer markers are normal. Surgery showed complete resolution if cancer after TCHP. Now have to deal with medication side effects. I have to repeat labs. I know if LFTs are still up or higher I will need a an Ultrasound or CT scan.

7 months agoYes, the hot flashes were so bad, I had to sleep with ice packs. Then the joint pain from my hands to my feet. I had to stop taking it. Praying that you find something you will be able to tolerate 🙏🏾

7 months agoI use Veozah and it works great. No hot flushes. Your doctor will do labs every 3 to 6 months . I have never taken any meds on a daily basis, but welcome to cancer... I'm on anastrozole, Veozah, and the pill to help prevent radiation fibrosis . I also take several vitamins. In Cancer survivorship, we have to make better food and fluid choices to help flush those meds out. Lots of water, lots of fruit and vegetables. Stay away from fatty, processed foods.

7 months agoI do feel that " over medicated" feeling sometimes on Anastrozole. Is it fatigue, lack of sleep. Who knows but it's scary at times

7 months agoI had my radiation through University of Virginia, amazing care. It is Pentoxifylline ER 400mg twice daily. You also take a vitamin e with it. No side effects from it
