Anyone else had VATS surgery for stage 1 lung carcinoid removal?

I too had a VATS procedure done that turned into a full blown thoractomy 01/04/2023!! With wedge resection. I have not been the same since. I did not have a very good experience. They were going after a mass in the left lung suspicious for lung cancer. But after all said and done. They could not come up with a definitive diagnosis. But it was not cancer... And that mass is still there....

How are You feeling? Did they do a thoractomy on you w/the wedge resection? Did you have to do chemo after?
